Domestic (US Based) Students

Once you make the decision and commitment to continue your education, Okan International University will assist you in making it a great experience.

 

How do I apply as a domestic (US Based) Student?

As a student candidate in the USA (citizen, permanent resident, and with any other visa except Tourist (B1/B2) visa), in order to complete the admissions process, you must meet and submit the following requirements (for detailed current information please call admissions department):

 

Steps:

  1. A completed signed and dated Admissions Form.
  2. A non -refundable application fee of $100.00 Dollars made payable to Okan International University.
  3. Undergraduate Programs: Copy of high school diploma or copy of GED (General Education Diploma) or High School Transcripts. For undergraduate transfer students, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials if they are not in English must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).   4. Graduate Programs: Copy of bachelor degree diploma or transcripts. For graduate transfer students, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials if they are not in English must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).   5. A sealed official High School Transcript or copy of the GED transcript.
  6. Copy of valid Government Issued Picture Identification (upon admissions).

PS. OIU is not yet authorized by SEVIS to issue I-20 forms for international candidates. International Students are encouraged to apply to OIU programs via online – distance education. OIU is authorized and licensed by the Florida Department of Education to give Bachelors and Masters degree education fully online.
